TEILHARD FROST PART 1
TEILHARD FROST PART 2

Teilhard Frost: Part 1

JULY 4th:
Teilhard Frost is a multi-instrumentalist, specializing in traditional fiddle tunes,
with a particular interest in the Appalachian Mountains. He has spent the last twelve years touring with critically acclaimed band Sheesham, Lotus and ‘Son, and is currently touring his new solo album, As the Crow Flies. Living on Wolfe Island, he makes banjos, supper, and his bed.

Luc Leduc - The Duke of Magic

JULY 11th & August 15th
The Duke of Magic – Luc Leduc, Ottawa's premier bilingual magician has been entertaining audiences around the world with his magic for 4 decades! He has entertained audiences across Canada, the US, Europe, and the Caribbean. He has performed for audiences young and not so young, Canadian Prime Ministers, and at magic conventions around the world. It was Luc’s honour to perform his magic for Canadian, and allied soldiers in war zones. From close-up magic, to elaborate stage shows, Luc’s magical performance will be remembered for many years to come!

Brian Loyer

JULY 18th & AUGUST 22nd

Back for his third performance at the Bytown Museum, Brian Loyer brings bluegrass tunes to LUEY 2020 with two sets; one of tunes that range from upbeat and chipper to deeply introspective, and a second set of songs by his brother in law Mark Beauchamp.

Wychwood

JULY 25th:
We're a duo who self-identify only half-jokingly as “the world’s first blackgrass band.” Chrissy Steinbock and Tim Kitz both sing and play guitar, as well as fake their way through banjo, accordion, mandolin, tin whistle, and probably a few other forgotten instruments.

Kimberly Sunstrum

AUGUST 1st:
Kimberly Sunstrum is a heart-stopping performer with songwriting that is deep, evocative and powerful. Her new album 'The Slow Sprint' marks a new turn in her creative evolution, reminiscing on her multidimensional identities: sister, daughter, biracial, queer.

Colette Laplante

AUGUST 8th
Joined Ottawa StoryTellers in 2012. Started by telling stories at senior's residence, Billings Estate and children's day camps. I've been telling tales at the Medieval Fair at Upper Canada Village since 2017 and Legendary Tales of Ottawa every Saturday in February during Heritage Month at a variety of Ottawa Public Libraries for the past two years. Put on a one woman show at the National Arts Centre in March 2018. It was two hours of tales of the Norse Gods from their inception to their demise. In 2019, a fellow storyteller and I told true stories about curses - people and objects.

Capitaine Bonnefemme

AUGUST 28th

The Bytown Museum is a not-for-profit, registered charity. In response to COVID-19, we have been commended on our Virtual Tour and Audio Guide accessibility, and our engagement with positive messaging, however due to restrictions on large gatherings, we are taking a hit in funding from admission fees, school tours, and more. Below is the link to the Bytown Museum’s Canada Helps page. There you can donate monthly, one time, or leave us a note if you’re interested in becoming a member. Your generosity means the world to us.
