The BYTOWN MUSEUM is always looking for volunteers, especially with many exciting upcoming events. We accept a wide range of volunteers, weather you are a High School/University/College student, retiree of are looking to fill your time with a meaningful experience. As long as you have an interest in volunteering at the BYTOWN MUSEUM, we want you!

Volunteer opportunities can include :

• Spending time with the public dressed in period clothing
• Workshops with children and adults
• Assisting with special events
• Serving customers lemonade during the summer
• Supporting core staff with important administrative tasks
• And much more!

If you have an interest in the history of Ottawa, love spending time at museums, or you want to gain valuable experience assisting with museum events and programming, then this opportunity is for you! We readily welcome new volunteers, and look forward to meeting you soon!
