YoCo Receives Awesome Grant!
Congratulations to the BYTOWN MUSEUM’s Youth Council on receiving Awesome Ottawa’s Awesome Grant! This grant will help support the creation of a permanent photo exhibit in the BYTOWN MUSEUM’s Youth Activity Area. The exhibit will feature photographs of youth throughout the past 100 years.

YoCo Featured in Nelson History Textbook
WOW! The BYTOWN MUSEUM’s Youth Council is being mentioned in the new Province of Ontario’s Grade 8 History textbook, published by Nelson Education! Nelson History 8 includes a full-page feature about the Youth Council’s mission, the projects they have accomplished and the sense of community that is built by joining the Youth Council. It is an honour for our Youth Council to be recognized in this textbook, which will be distributed across Ontario this school year. Congratulations YoCo!
