February 4-5, 11-12, 18-20
Take a break from skating and warm up on one of our special Winterlude tours. In 15 minutes, our tour guides will highlight the unique stories and characters of Ottawa’s past hiding beneath the objects and artifacts of our temporary exhibit, A Century of Community.
Daily throughout the festival
The weather outside is frightful – help us bring the storm indoors! Make your own snowflake and add it to our Bytown Blizzard to create a winter wonderland in Ottawa’s oldest stone building. All the supplies you need are provided by the museum.
Ice Sculpture Demonstration
Help us kick off our 100th anniversary year in style! Join us outside the Bytown Museum as we bring ice sculptures to life. This year we celebrate the past and look forward to the future, all while having a little fun along the way.
